DESIGNED AROUND YOU

More glass. A clearer view.

Frameless glazing brings large areas of glass into the architecture with minimal visual interruption. Discuss fixed glazing alongside opening doors to create the right balance of views, daylight and access for your home.

Develop the fixed and opening areas together. Tell us which views you want to retain, where access is needed and how the glazing will meet the surrounding walls, floor and roof. We can discuss the layout at the survey and design stage.

THE DETAIL MATTERS

Start with the
right questions.

How does fixed glazing work with sliding doors?

Fixed panes provide views and daylight without becoming an access route. Moving panels need somewhere to travel and park. We develop the relationship between them around your opening, so the quotation should identify which panes move and the clear access they provide.

Which junctions need to be coordinated?

The head, side supports, base and any glass-to-glass junctions affect the finished appearance. Bring a section through the proposed opening, including floor build-ups, so the glazing can be considered alongside the supporting structure and weathering details.

What determines the glass specification?

Pane dimensions, location, exposure and the intended use all matter. The agreed proposal must address the relevant safety, thermal and solar-control requirements. Ask for the glass build-up and performance of the proposed assembly in your quotation.
