DESIGNED AROUND YOU

Large openings. A wider view.

Oversized sliding glass doors and moving glass walls make glazing part of the architecture. Large glazed panels frame the view and connect your living space with the outdoors, with each layout designed around the opening, structure and practical demands of installation.

Fineline Door Systems brings contemporary British design to large glazed openings. Oversized sliding doors and moving glass walls connect living spaces with terraces and gardens. We design for contemporary new builds and existing homes, with a free site survey and design consultation. We supply and install across the UK, including London, Jersey and the Channel Islands.

THE DETAIL MATTERS

Start with the
right questions.

How are suitable panel sizes established?

Panel proportions, glass specification, loading and the selected system need to be considered together. Treat early dimensions as a brief until the survey and design process confirms the arrangement. Ask the quotation to state the proposed panel sizes and any limitations.

What access is needed for installation?

Large glass and frames may require a planned delivery route and lifting equipment. Identify restricted roads, narrow passages, changes of level and overhead obstructions early. Agree who provides lifting equipment and prepares the opening before installation is booked.

How do moving glass walls relate to the building structure?

The opening and supports must suit the proposed system and its movement. The architect or structural designer needs the agreed loads and interface information. Confirm who designs and constructs the support and how tolerances will be checked before manufacture.
